The Borden Project

The Borden Project is an ongoing work-in-progress. Since June our database has grown from 5,000 names to almost 12,000. Volunteers have been working diligently to create Individual Records for each of these descendants but it is a slow process.

We can make this process faster and more efficient for everyone if we had an online database that would allow users to use a search engine to find names. We would need to find a programmer who could create this search engine to fits our specific needs.

So, we looked around to see what we could offer members in the way of research aids and here's what we have to offer: All proceeds will go toward purchasing the search engine.

1850 Borden Census List (Contains 1608 Bordens)	All Borden names from 1850 listed in an Excel file which you can sort by name, age, place of birth, or residence. This is a great file for hunting for "lost" Bordens and for clustering data together by criteria.
